April, My daughter is a friend of Shaylie's that moved away to Idaho about 5.5 years ago. My parents are Ken and Eunice Hight who know Scott and his family very well. We were notified of his condition tonight and have spent the last few hours reading your blog. Our hearts go out to you and your families at this time. Mrs. Newman was also an English teacher in my HS. We will add you to our prayers and put his name in the Boise temple for you. We're anxious to hear that he is doing better soon. Hang in there. Caregiving is as hard as being the patient. Take time to take care of yourselves and depend on your ward families and dear friends to help you. We love you Newmans!
